  1. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (INTELLIGENT MANUAL TRANSMISSION SWITCH)

      Component without harness connected

      (Combination Switch Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      6 (S) - 2 (E) iMT switch pushed and hold Below 1 Ω
      6 (S) - 2 (E) iMT switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      4 (ECU) - 2 (E) ECO mode switch pushed and hold Below 1 Ω
      4 (ECU) - 2 (E) ECO mode switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      3 (PWR) - 2 (E) POWER mode switch pushed and hold Below 1 Ω
      3 (PWR) - 2 (E) POWER mode switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.

      Component without harness connected

      (Combination Switch Assembly)

      Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the switch, and check the illumination condition of the combination switch assembly.

      Standard
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → 5 (ILL+) Battery negative (-) → 1 (ILL-) Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.
