   INSPECT COUNTER GEAR

      Using a micrometer, measure the outside diameter of the counter gear as shown in the illustration.

      Measuring point	Standard outside diameter	Minimum outside diameter
      A	29.984 to 30.000 mm (1.1805 to 1.1811 in.)	29.984 mm (1.1805 in.)

      If the outside diameter is less than the minimum, replace the counter gear.
