AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM(for Radio and Display Type) Display Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Jack Adapter

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the display signal from an external device to the radio and display receiver assembly via this circuit.

WIRING DIAGRAM

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - RADIO WIRING SUB-ASSEMBLY)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the G37 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

   2. Disconnect the aG1 radio wiring sub-assembly connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G37-13 (VV+) - aG1-8 Always Below 1 Ω G37-14 (VV-) - aG1-9 Always Below 1 Ω G37-12 (SG) - aG1-1 Always Below 1 Ω G37-13 (VV+) or aG1-8 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher G37-14 (VV-) or aG1-9 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher G37-12 (SG) or aG1-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result
      Proceed to OK NG

   
   

   NG

   REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

   OK

2. CHECK RADIO WIRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly)
      *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to Vehicle Wire Harness)

      Disconnect the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

   2. Disconnect the vehicle wire harness connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition a1-6 (VV+) - aG1-8 Always Below 1 Ω a1-11 (VV-) - aG1-9 Always Below 1 Ω a1-6 (VV+) or aG1-8 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher a1-11 (VV-) or aG1-9 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher aG1-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
