VANE PUMP(for 1GR-FE) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

    Click here

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH


    1. Detach the 6 clips and remove the front fender apron seal RH.

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL RESERVOIR TO PUMP HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 oil reservoir to pump hose.

    2. Drain the power steerig fluid.

  4. DISCONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY


    1. for 2WD:


      1. A01LF35

        Remove the union bolt, then disconnect the pressure feed tube assembly.

      2. Remove the gasket from the pressure feed tube assembly.

    2. for 4WD:


      1. Disconnect the power steering oil pressure switch connector.

      2. A01L80N

        Remove the union bolt, then disconnect the pressure feed tube assembly.

      3. Remove the gasket from the pressure feed tube assembly.

  5. REMOVE VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. for 2WD:

      Disconnect the power steering oil pressure switch connector.

    2. A01LFXF

      Remove the 2 bolts and vane pump assembly.
