VANE PUMP(for 1KD-FTV, 2KD-FTV) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)

2. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)

3. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT WHEEL LH

   Click here

4. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH

   
   

   1. Detach the 6 clips and remove the front fender apron seal LH.

5. Click here

   DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL RESERVOIR TO PUMP HOSE

   
   
   1. 

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 oil reservoir to pump hose.

   2. Drain the power steering fluid.

6. Click here

   DISCONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the pressure feed tube from the vane pump assembly.

7. Click here

   REMOVE VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the 2 nuts and vane pump assembly.

   2. Remove the O-ring.
