VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE(for 1TR-FE, 2TR-FE) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE BRACKET (for LHD)

   
   

   1. Install the vacuum switching valve bracket with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf }

2. INSTALL NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

   
   

   1. Install the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly with the nut.

      Torque:

      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the No. 1 air hose and No. 2 air hose to the No. 1 vacuum switching valve and slide the 2 clips to secure them.

   3. Connect the connector.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

   
   

   1. Install the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly with the nut.

      Torque:

      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

4. INSTALL BOOSTER VACUUM TUBE (for RHD)

   
   

   1. Install the booster vacuum tube with the 3 nuts.

      Torque:

      6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the No. 1 air hose and No. 2 air hose to the No. 1 vacuum switching valve and slide the 2 clips to secure them.

   3. Connect the check valve to brake booster hose and union to connector tube hose and slide the 2 clips to secure them.

   4. Connect the connector and attach the wire harness clamp.
