EJECTOR TUBE(for 1TR-FE, 2TR-FE) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM EJECTOR (for LHD)


    1. A01L9E4

      Attach the 2 claws to install the vacuum hose clamp to the brake booster vacuum ejector.

      Note

      Be sure to install the brake booster vacuum ejector in the correct direction.

      *1 No. 2 Air Hose
      *2 Vacuum Tube Connector Hose
      *3 Check Valve To Connector Tube Hose
      *a from Duty Vacuum Switching Valve (Air Cleaner Hose)
      *b from Brake Booster
      *c to Intake Manifold

      Connect the No. 2 air hose, vacuum tube connector hose and 2 check valve to connector tube hoses to the brake booster vacuum ejector and slide the 4 clips to secure them.

      Note

      Be sure to install the brake booster vacuum ejector in the correct direction.

    3. Attach the clamp to install the brake booster vacuum ejector with vacuum hose clamp to the clamp bracket.

  2. INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM EJECTOR (for RHD)

      Attach the 2 claws to install the vacuum hose clamp to the brake booster vacuum ejector.

      Note

      Be sure to install the brake booster vacuum ejector in the correct direction.

      *1 No. 2 Air Hose
      *2 Check Valve To Brake Booster Hose
      *3 Check Valve To Connector Tube Hose
      *a from Duty Vacuum Switching Valve (Air Cleaner Hose)
      *b from Brake Booster
      *c to Intake Manifold

      Connect the No. 2 air hose, check valve to brake booster hose and 2 check valve to connector tube hoses to the brake booster vacuum ejector and slide the 4 clips to secure them.

      Note

      Be sure to install the brake booster vacuum ejector in the correct direction.

    3. Attach the clamp to install the brake booster vacuum ejector with vacuum hose clamp to the clamp bracket.
