BRAKE BOOSTER(w/o ABS) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER GASKET

   
   

   1. Install a new brake booster gasket to the brake booster assembly.

2. INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the brake booster assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:

      18.4 N*m  { 188 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

   2. Install 2 new grommets to the brake booster assembly.

   3. Install the 2 vacuum check valve assemblies to the brake booster assembly.

3. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. CONNECT VACUUM HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the 2 vacuum hoses to each brake vacuum check valve assembly, and slide the 2 clips to secure them.

5. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS

   
   

   1. Install the brake master cylinder push rod clevis to the brake booster assembly.

6. INSTALL PUSH ROD PIN

7. INSTALL BRAKE PEDAL RETURN SPRING

8. BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM

   Click here

9. BLEED CLUTCH LINE

   Click here

10. CHECK AND ADJUST BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT
