NAVIGATION SYSTEM Display Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Stereo Jack Adapter

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the display signal from an external device to the navigation receiver assembly via this circuit.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK RADIO WIRE


    1. Disconnect the a1 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

      (to Vehicle Wire Harness)

      Disconnect the aG1 vehicle wire harness connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      a1-6 (VV+) - aG1-8 Always Below 1 Ω
      a1-11 (VV-) - aG1-9 Always Below 1 Ω
      a1-6 (VV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      a1-11 (VV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO WIRE - NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the aG1 radio wire connector.

    2. Disconnect the G113 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      aG1-8 - G113-13 (VV+) Always Below 1 Ω
      aG1-9 - G113-14 (VV-) Always Below 1 Ω
      aG1-1 - G113-12 (SG) Always Below 1 Ω
      aG1-8 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      aG1-9 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      aG1-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
