DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a communication error occurs between the sensors and ECUs.

U0123 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module When the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 1 km/h (1 mph) or more 3 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to ON, a communication error between the yaw rate sensor and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

  • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly)

  • Forward recognition camera
U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module 3 seconds after the ignition switch is ON, a communication error between the skid control ECU and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

  • CAN communication system

  • Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)

  • Forward recognition camera

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (ROAD SIGN ASSIST SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Road Sign Assist > Clear DTCs

    2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

    3. Check for DTCs.
