  1. INSPECT LANE DEPARTURE ALERT MAIN SWITCH

    Component without harness connected

    (Lane Departure Alert Switch)

    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        3 (GND) - 6 (ECU) Lane departure alert switch pushed Below 1 Ω
        Lane departure alert switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Inspect the illumination operation.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (ILL-)

      		 LED illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the lane departure alert switch.
