STARTER(for BOSCH Made) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Temporarily install the starter assembly with the bolt.

   2. Temporarily install the clutch flexible hose bracket with the bolt.

   3. Tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

   4. Connect the starter wire with the nut.

      Torque:

      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

   5. Connect the starter connector.

   6. Install the starter terminal cap.

2. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SEAL LH

   
   

   1. Install the front fender seal LH with new 5 clips.

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
