GLOW PLUG REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

   PRECAUTION

   Note:

   After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

   DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

   REMOVE INTAKE PIPE

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the 2 bolts.

   2. Loosen the 2 hose clamps and remove the intake pipe.

4. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 GLOW PLUG CONNECTOR

   
   
   1. 

      *1	Nut
      *2	Plate Washer
      *3	No. 2 Glow Plug Resistor Insulator
      *4	Wire Harness
      *5	No. 1 Glow Plug Resistor Insulator

      Remove the nut, plate washer and No. 2 glow plug resistor insulator and disconnect the wire harness.

   2. Remove the 4 screw grommets, 4 nuts and No. 1 glow plug connector.

   3. Remove the No. 1 glow plug resistor insulator.

5. Click here

   REMOVE GLOW PLUG ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Using a 12 mm deep socket wrench, remove the 4 glow plug assemblies.
