Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
PROCEDURE
SECURE VEHICLE
Fully apply the parking brake and chock a wheel.
CAUTION:
Make sure to apply the parking brake and chock a wheel before performing this procedure.
If the vehicle is not secure and the shift lever is moved to N, the vehicle may suddenly move, possibly resulting in an accident or serious injury.
REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT (w/ Rear Air Duct)
Remove the 2 clips and No. 1 console box duct.
DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
Move the shift lever to N.

Disconnect in this Direction |
Disconnect the transmission control cable end from the transmission floor shift assembly.
Remove the clip and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.
REMOVE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the 2 connectors from the transmission floor shift assembly.

Detach the 3 wire harness clamps and disconnect the wire harness from the transmission floor shift assembly.
Remove the 4 bolts and transmission floor shift assembly from the vehicle body.
