THERMOSTAT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FAN SHROUD

  2. REMOVE WATER HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Viscous Heater)

    Click here

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass pipe sub-assembly from the engine water pump assembly and water inlet.

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

      w/ Air Conditioning System without Viscous Heater:

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly from the water inlet.

    2. Slide the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the water inlet.

  5. REMOVE WATER INLET


    1. B0026WB

      Remove the 3 bolts and water inlet.

  6. REMOVE THERMOSTAT


    1. Remove the thermostat from the engine water pump assembly.

    2. Remove the gasket from the thermostat.
