    INSPECT UREA PUMP


    1. Inspect the level sensor.


      1. A01SG3ZC02

        Component without harness connected

        (Urea Pump)

        *b Upper
        *c Lower

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        14 (LV1) - 6 (ELV1) Float is up 23.37 to 24.47 kΩ
        Float is down 1.40 to 1.46 kΩ
    2. Inspect the tank heater.


      1. A01SK62C04
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Urea Pump)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        9 (TH+) - 11 (TH-) 25°C (77°F) 1.39 to 1.54 kΩ
    3. Inspect the temperature sensor.


      1. A01SK62C05
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Urea Pump)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 (TUW) - 2 (ETUW) 20°C (68°F) 2.47 to 2.56 kΩ
        30°C (86°F) 1.69 to 1.75 kΩ
    4. Inspect the pump motor.

        (Urea Pump)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        7 (PHAA) - 8 (PHAB) 20 to 30 °C (68 to 86°F) 0.35 to 0.43 Ω
        7 (PHAA) - 16 (PHAC)
        8 (PHAB) - 16 (PHAC)
        7 (PHAA) - 15 (MGND) Always 10 kΩ or higher
        8 (PHAB) - 15 (MGND)
        16 (PHAC) - 15 (MGND)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the urea pump.
