OIL PUMP DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE OIL PUMP RELIEF VALVE


    1. A01SEITC02
      *a Timing Pointer
      *b Clearance
      *c Wooden Block

      Place the timing belt case sub-assembly on wooden blocks.

      Note

      Do not damage the timing pointer.

    2. A01SAMMC02
      *a 12 mm Hexagon Wrench

      Using a 12 mm hexagon wrench, remove the oil pump relief valve plug, gasket, oil pump relief valve spring and oil pump relief valve.

  2. REMOVE OIL PUMP COVER


    1. Remove the 8 screws and oil pump cover from the timing belt case sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR


    1. Remove the oil pump drive gear and oil pump driven gear from the timing belt case sub-assembly.
