FUEL SUPPLY PUMP INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FUEL SUPPLY PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the suction control valve.


      1. A01LFSKC01
        *1 Suction Control Valve
        *2 Fuel Temperature Sensor

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 1.9 to 2.3 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel supply pump assembly.

    2. Inspect the fuel temperature sensor.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 2.32 to 2.59 kΩ

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel supply pump assembly.
