FUEL PUMP REASSEMBLY

Do not try to remove the black nylon tube as it is welded to the fuel suction tube assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FUEL WITH FILTER PUMP ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel with filter pump assembly.

      Install the fuel with filter pump assembly harness and connect the fuel with filter pump assembly connector.

    2. Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring.

      *1 O-Ring
      *2 Spacer
      *a Supporter

      Install the O-ring and spacer to the supporter of the fuel with filter pump assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Attach the 3 claws to the claw holes and install the fuel with filter pump assembly and suction filter assembly.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK

      Attach the 2 claws to the claw holes and install the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

    2. A01LBMU

      Attach the 3 claws to the claw holes.

    3. A01L8YJ

      Connect the fuel tube and wire harness.

    4. A01LBI1

      Attach the claw on the end of the tube to the claw hole. Connect the tube to the 2 clamps on the fuel sub-tank.

    5. A01LCUO

      Connect the fuel with filter pump assembly connector and wire harness.
