DRIVE BELT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

   
   

   1. Install the fan and generator V belt.

   2. 

      While tightening bolt A, adjust the deflection of the fan and generator V belt.

   3. Tighten bolts B and C.

      Torque:

      for bolt B

      75 N*m  { 765 kgf*cm, 55 ft.*lbf }

      for bolt C

      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

   4. Check the deflection of the fan and generator V belt.

2. INSTALL COOLER COMPRESSOR V BELT (w/ Air Conditioning System)

   
   

   1. Install the cooler compressor V belt.

   2. While tightening the bolt, adjust the deflection of the cooler compressor V belt.

   3. Tighten the nut.

      Torque:

      39 N*m  { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

   4. Check the deflection of the cooler compressor V belt.

3. INSTALL VANE PUMP V BELT

   
   

   1. Install the vane pump V belt.

   2. Using a bar, adjust the deflection of the vane pump V belt.

   3. Tighten the bolt and nut.

      Torque:

      for bolt

      48 N*m  { 489 kgf*cm, 35 ft.*lbf }

      for nut

      64 N*m  { 653 kgf*cm, 47 ft.*lbf }

   4. Check the deflection of the vane pump V belt.

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE

7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
