FUEL INJECTION NOZZLE REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NOZZLE RETAINING NUT


    1. Install the nozzle assembly, nozzle distance piece and nozzle holder pressure pin to the nozzle retaining nut.

    2. Install the nozzle holder pressure spring and adjusting shim, and then temporarily install the injection nozzle holder to the nozzle retaining nut.

    3. A01SDXBN01

      Using SST, tighten the nozzle retaining nut.

      09268-64010   ( 09268-64020, 09268-64030 )
      Torque:
      46.6 N*m  { 475 kgf*cm, 34 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Overtightening could cause nozzle deformation and needle adhesion or other defects.

    4. Inspect the nozzle holder and nozzle set.
