    REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  3. *A for LHD *B for RHD
    Click here

    REMOVE ECM


    1. for LHD:

      Detach the 2 clamps.

    2. for RHD:

      Detach the 3 clamps.

    3. for 4WD:


      1. Disconnect the 2 4 wheel drive control ECU connectors and 6 ECM connectors.

      2. Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and ECM with the 4 wheel drive control ECU.

    4. for 2WD and Pre-Runner:


      1. Disconnect the 6 ECM connectors.

      2. Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and ECM.

    REMOVE 4 WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL ECU (for 4WD)

    REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

      Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 ECM bracket.
