FFD Group Code GTS Display Detection Condition Vehicle Behavior Suspected Cause
01 X3200 EV Output Limit 1. Power limitation was applied due to overheat of the EV system
      • Power output is restricted

      • Multi-information display shows "FC System Overheat Output Power is Limited".

      Continuously high load operation

      Tech Tips

If the temperature becomes high, the power may be temporarily limited until the temperature returns to normal.

      2. Power limitation for a low FC coolant temperature was applied
      • Power output is restricted

      • Multi-information display shows the power output restriction light, "FC" in blue.

      Low ambient temperature

      Tech Tips

In cold climate areas, the power output may be temporarily limited even if the READY indicator has come on. Once the FC system has warmed up, the limitation will be removed.

      3. Power limitation for a high FC coolant temperature was applied
      • Power output is restricted

      • Multi-information display shows the power output restriction light, "FC" in amber.

      • High ambient temperature

      • Continuously high load operation

02 X3210 Br Mode Reject Shift lever was put into Br mode despite Br mode being unavailable to use (*1)
      • Unable to enter Br mode

      • Multi-information display shows "Br Mode is Unavailable".

*1: If any one of the following conditions is applicable, Br mode will become unavailable to use.

      • EV battery is in WIN (charging power) limitation*2

      • FC air compressor temperature is high

      • Drive motor inverter temperature is high

      • "FC System Malfunction" message is shown on the multi-information display

      • Charging system warning light is illuminated

      • There are errors in the brake system

If Br mode is not available to use, deceleration force of the regenerative brake may be reduced. In such a situation, use the brake pedal to decelerate the vehicle.

03 X3220 FC Stack Shock History Signal, which indicates that G force greater than the threshold value was applied, was received from the airbag ECU - Road surface interference / collision
04 X3240 Fuel Lid Interlock Activate

Freeze Frame data will be stored when any of the following conditions are met.

      • While the hydrogen fuel control ECU detects that the fuel lid is open, the power switch is turned on (READY)

      • Regardless of whether the fuel lid is open or closed, an emergency start operation is used to turn the power switch on (READY).

      • In any of the following circumstances, hydrogen filling is performed and the pressure inside the hydrogen tank assembly increases.

        • The power switch is on (READY) (*3)

        • FC system is operating in anti-freeze control

Refer to each type of Freeze Frame Data.

      • "Fuel Lid Information"

Power switch cannot be turned on (READY), multi-information display shows "Close H2 Filler Door and Restart Your Vehicle"
      • Tried to turn power switch on (READY) when fuel lid was open.

      • Fuel lid interlock circuit malfunction.

      • On the trip after fuel lid opening operation was performed, power switch turned on and before driving, the fuel lid opened.

When power switch is on (READY) (*3), hydrogen filling is performed and power switch is forced to turn off, and the multi-information display shows "H2 Filler Door is open. Park Your Vehicle in a Safe Place and Close H2 Filler Door".
      • With the power switch on (READY), hydrogen fill was performed.

      • Fuel lid interlock circuit malfunction.

05 X0450 Battery Smart Unit Mismatch Different types of battery voltage sensors are mounted READY ON cannot be activated Incorrect battery voltage sensor has been installed.

      • *2: If Br mode frequently becomes unavailable to use due to highly SOC of the EV battery, it is presumed that the electric heater is malfunctioning. If the electric heater malfunctions, regenerative energy cannot be handled properly, causing the EV battery SOC to increase.

      • *3: When the fuel lid is actually open, but due to a malfunction in the fuel lid interlock switch, etc., the hydrogen fuel control ECU detects the fuel lid as being closed, and the power switch has been allowed to turn on (READY).
