  1. OPERATION HISTORY DATA

    Tech Tips

    The EV control ECU records inappropriate operations performed by the driver and the number of abnormal conditions that have been input to the ECU as operation history data.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Data List.

    5. Enter the menu to view the number of inappropriate operations or controls that have been performed.

      Tech Tips


      • Latest Operation: Among the past occurrences, the number of inappropriate operations or controls that have been performed during the most recent trip.

      • Latest Trip: The number of trips after the occurrence of Latest Operation.

      • Operation before Latest: The number of occurrences during the trip previous to the Latest Operation.

      • Trip before Latest: The number of trips after the occurrence of Operation before Latest.

      GTS Display Count Condition
      FC Air Comp Motor Temp High FC air compressor motor temperature is greater than or equal to the specified value.
      Drive Motor Temperature High Drive motor temperature exceeded 168°C (334.4°F)
      FC Air Comp Motor Inv Temp High FC air compressor motor inverter temperature is greater than or equal to the specified value.
      Drive Motor Inverter Temp High Drive motor inverter temperature rose and EV system overheating was detected
      Inverter Coolant Heating EV coolant temperature exceeded 65°C (149°F)
      Boosting Converter Heating Boost converter temperature is greater than or equal to the specified value
      Resistor Over Heat System main resistor connected to SMRP (precharge system main relay) circuit overheated
      Accelerator & Brake Depress Both accelerator and brake pedals depressed
      Shift Before Ready Shift lever moved with READY indicator blinking
      Shift P in Running P position switch pushed while driving
      Shift without Depressing Brake Park (P) selected and shift lever is moved without depressing the brake pedal
      N Range Control by Busy Shift N position control (switching to N) performed due to frequent shifting operation
      Step Accelerator in N Range Accelerator pedal depressed in N position
      Shift R Moving Fwd or D/B Rev Shifted to R while moving forward or to D or Br while moving in reverse
      Shift R or D during Ready OFF Shifted to R or D during READY OFF operation
      Auxiliary Battery Low Auxiliary battery voltage below 9.5 V (Power switch cannot be turned on (READY))
      EV ECU Intermittent Problems Instantaneous open circuit at +B terminal of EV control ECU
      Battery Low Voltage EV battery state of charge dropped below 30%
