REAR BUMPER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH


    1. B003K15

      Install the rear bumper upper retainer LH with the screw.

  2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      B003OFB Install in this Direction

      Attach the claw to install the rear bumper side retainer LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the 3 clips.

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR BACK STEP FRAME


    1. B003NSF

      Install the rear back step frame with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER EXTENSION


    1. B003OFL

      Install the rear bumper extension with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all rear bumper extensions.

      Attach the clamp.

  7. INSTALL REAR BODY NO. 2 MUDGUARD SUPPORT RH


    1. B003KAY

      Install the rear body No. 2 mudguard support RH with 3 new grommets.

    2. Install the screw.

  8. INSTALL REAR BODY NO. 2 MUDGUARD SUPPORT LH

      Install the rear body No. 2 mudguard support LH with 3 new grommets.

    2. Install the screw.

  9. INSTALL REAR BODY NO. 1 MUDGUARD SUPPORT RH

      Install the rear body No. 1 mudguard support RH with the 2 screws.

  10. INSTALL REAR BODY NO. 1 MUDGUARD SUPPORT LH


    1. B003SBH

      Install the rear body No. 1 mudguard support LH with the 2 screws.

  11. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. Connect the No. 3 luggage room wire connector.

      B003OFB Install in this Direction

      Install the rear bumper cover as shown in the illustration.

    3. B003OE8C01
      B003OFB Install in this Direction

      Attach the claw as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure to detach the claw on the other side.

    4. Install the 8 screws.

      Install the 3 clips.

    6. Install the 4 screws.

      Install the screw.
