REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

  2. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Rear Fog Light)

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Rear Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE


    1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light:


      1. Detach the clamp and remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.

    2. w/o TOYOTA parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light:


      1. Detach the clamp and remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.

    3. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Rear Fog Light:


      1. Detach the clamp and remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.

  7. REMOVE LOWER REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the 12 clips.

    2. Remove the lower rear bumper cover.

  8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Using a screwdriver, remove the 4 clips.

    2. Remove the rear bumper side moulding sub-assembly LH.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD

      Remove the rear bumper pad.
