PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER

      Remove the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

      Remove the 3 clips.

    3. Remove the 4 screws.

      B003KT0 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the rear bumper cover.

    5. Remove the 8 screws.

      B003QBX Place Hands Here
      B003OFB Remove in this Direction

      Detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure to detach the claw on the other side.

      Remove the rear bumper cover as shown in the illustration.

    8. Disconnect the luggage room wire connector.

  6. REMOVE REAR BODY NO. 1 MUDGUARD SUPPORT LH

      Remove the 2 screws and rear body No. 1 mudguard support LH.

  7. REMOVE REAR BODY NO. 1 MUDGUARD SUPPORT RH

      Remove the 2 screws and rear body No. 1 mudguard support RH.

  8. REMOVE REAR BODY NO. 2 MUDGUARD SUPPORT LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, remove the 3 grommets and remove the rear body No. 2 mudguard support LH.

  9. REMOVE REAR BODY NO. 2 MUDGUARD SUPPORT RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, remove the 3 grommets and remove the rear body No. 2 mudguard support RH.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION

      Detach the clamp.

    2. B003OFL

      Remove the bolt and rear bumper extension.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all rear bumper extensions.

  11. REMOVE REAR BACK STEP FRAME


    1. B003NSF

      Remove the 6 bolts and rear back step frame.

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      *a 90°
      B003OFB Rotation Direction
      B003QYY Remove in this Direction

      Using a screwdriver, turn the clips 90° and remove the 3 clips.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH
