HEATER SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT IDLE UP SWITCH


    1. B003N32C01
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Idle Up Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      6 - 3 Idle up switch ON position Below 10 Ω
      Idle up switch OFF position 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the idle up switch.

    2. B003N32C01
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Idle Up Switch)

      Check that the LED illuminates.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the heater switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 5

        Battery negative (-) → 4

        		 Idle up switch illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the idle up switch.
