PRESSURE SWITCH ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT NO. 1 PRESSURE SWITCH


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      (No. 1 Pressure Switch)

      Using a service wire, connect terminals 1 (S+) and 2 (S-) of the No. 1 pressure switch connector on the vehicle wire harness side.

    3. Start the engine.

    4. Turn the A/C switch on and check that the magnet clutch turns on.

    5. Check that the magnet clutch turns off when disconnecting terminals 1 (S+) and 2 (S-).

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Terminals 1 (S+) and 2 (S-) connected Magnet clutch turns on
      Terminals 1 (S+) and 2 (S-) disconnected Magnet clutch turns off

      If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 1 pressure switch.
