PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT MAGNET CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Magnet Clutch Assembly)

      for Type A:

      Inspect the magnet clutch assembly.


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the clutch and check the operation of the clutch.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

        Battery negative (-) → Body ground

        		 Magnet clutch is engaged

        If the result is not as specified, replace the magnet clutch assembly.

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Magnet Clutch Assembly)

      for Type B:

      Inspect the magnet clutch assembly.


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the clutch and check the operation of the clutch.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

        Battery negative (-) → Body ground

        		 Magnet clutch is engaged

        If the result is not as specified, replace the magnet clutch assembly.
