REAR AIR CONDITIONING UNIT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

  3. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE

    Click here

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER

    Click here

  6. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

  7. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD RH

    Click here

  8. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP

    Click here

  9. REMOVE QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH RH

    Click here

  10. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP

    Click here

  11. REMOVE REAR UPPER PILLAR GARNISH RH

    Click here

  12. REMOVE NO. 5 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 3 clips.

    2. B003LULC01
      B003OFB Order of Removal

      Remove the No. 5 air duct sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER

  14. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION PIPE A

    1. Remove the bolt.

    2. Disconnect the cooler refrigerant suction pipe A.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant suction pipe A.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  15. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE C


    1. B003QDJ

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe C.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe C.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  16. REMOVE REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    3. Detach the clamp.

    4. Remove the 3 bolts and rear cooling unit assembly.

  17. REMOVE REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)


    1. B003OW5

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    3. Detach the clamp.

    4. Remove the 3 bolts and rear cooling unit assembly.
