REAR AIR CONDITIONING UNIT REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR COOLING UNIT EXPANSION VALVE

    1. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

      Compressor oil
      ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

    2. Install the 2 O-rings to the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

      Note

      Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surfaces free of foreign matter.

    3. Install the rear cooling unit expansion valve to the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

  2. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

      Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the rear evaporator sub-assembly.

      Compressor oil
      ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

    2. Install the 2 O-rings to the rear evaporator sub-assembly.

      Note

      Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surfaces free of foreign matter.

    3. Using a 4 mm socket hexagon wrench, install the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly to the rear evaporator sub-assembly with the 2 hexagon bolts.

      Torque:
      3.5 N*m  { 36 kgf*cm, 31 in.*lbf }

      Install the rear evaporator sub-assembly to the cooler unit case (sink side).

    5. B003LEV

      Install the No. 2 cooler unit drain hose.

      Note

      Make sure that the No. 2 cooler drain hose is not deformed during installation.

      Attach the claw to install the cooling unit case (motor side).

    7. Install the 5 screws.

  3. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

      Install the air conditioning control assembly with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL REAR BLOWER RESISTOR (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

      Install the rear blower resistor with the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL REAR BLOWER MOTOR WITH FAN SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B003QAE

      Install the rear blower motor with fan sub-assembly with the 3 screws.

  6. INSTALL REAR NO. 6 AIR DUCT


    1. B003PGL

      Attach the claw to install the rear No. 6 air duct.

  7. INSTALL REAR COOLER RELAY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

      Install the rear cooling relay with the screw.
