FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat) DISASSEMBLY

    Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

  • There is risk of injury.

  • If the front seat side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, separate type front seatback frame sub-assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.

  • Replace any other damaged parts as necessary.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the front seat headrest assembly.

  2. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP RH

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps RH in the removal direction shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB RH (for Slide and Vertical, Lifter)

      Using moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull out removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the power seat switch knob RH.

  4. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB RH (for Reclining)

      Using moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull out removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the power seat switch knob RH.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Pull down removal direction to detach the guide and remove the front seat inner No. 1 cushion shield RH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Using moulding remover A, lift in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and push down in removal direction to detach the claw.

      Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull out removal direction to detach the clip and guide.

      Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull out removal direction to detach the guide, claw and clip.

      *1 Wire Harness Clamp
      *2 Connector Clamp
      *3 Hook A
      *4 Hook B

      Detach the hook A.

    5. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    6. Detach the wire harness clamp and connector clamp.

    7. Detach the hook B.

    8. Detach the claw and remove the front seat cushion shield RH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH

      Using moulding remover A, lift up direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and push down removal direction to detach the claw.

      Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull out removal direction to detach the claw and guide to remove the front seat inner cushion shield RH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

      Remove the band in the position shown in the illustration.

      *2 Connector Clamp

      w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:


      1. Detach the wire harness clamp and connector clamp.

        Detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. B003NSH

      Disconnect the connector and detach the guide.

      *1 Separate Type Front Seat Cushion Cover

      Detach the hook.

      Remove the 4 bolts and front seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

  11. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Rotate the part in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    2. Pull up in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  12. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  13. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEATBACK HOOK

      Using moulding remover A, lift up direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration remove the front No. 1 seatback hook.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

      Open the fasteners as show in the illustration.

      Pull up removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guide to the 2 straps.

      Detach the claw and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  15. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:


      1. Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull out removal direction to detach the J hook B.

      2. Remove the rivet to J hook B.

        • Only remove one of the rivets.


        • For LH seats, remove the top rivet.


        • For RH seats, remove the bottom rivet.

  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 6 hog rings.

  17. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE RH

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the front seat No. 2 wire RH.

      Pull down removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the claw and remove the front No. 2 seatback hook.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Detach the claw and remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors.

      Pull out removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to separate the front seatback spring sub-assembly RH.

    3. Pull out removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly RH.

    4. Remove the 2 front No. 2 seatback hooks.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR

      B003KT0 Protective Tape

      Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, detach the claw and remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors.

  23. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. While sliding the part in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the J hook and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

  24. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the 2 hog rings and disconnect the 2 straps of the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      Remove the 18 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover.

  25. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Pull out removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guide.

      Lift up removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the clip.

    4. Pull out removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. While rotating the part in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration, detach the claw.

  29. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH

      Detach the wire harness clamp and connector clamp.

    2. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

  31. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Pull out removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the hook.
