Both conditions are met:


  • IG voltage is 10.5 V or higher.

  • Open in turn signal light circuit.


  • Harness or connector

  • Headlight assembly

  • Side turn signal light assembly

  • Outer rear view mirror assembly

  • Rear combination light assembly

  • Combination meter assembly

B1508 Short in Turn Signal / Hazard Flasher Circuit

Both conditions are met:


  • IG voltage is 10.5 V or higher.

  • Short in turn signal light circuit or hazard warning light circuit.


  • Harness or connector

  • Headlight assembly

  • Side turn signal light assembly

  • Outer rear view mirror assembly

  • Rear combination light assembly

  • Combination meter assembly

  • When replacing the combination meter assembly, make sure to replace it with a new one.

  • Inspect the bulbs for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Clear DTCs
    2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      B1507 and B1508 are not output.

  2. CHECK TURN SIGNAL LIGHT


    1. Check the illumination of each turn signal light.

      Result

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LH SIDE CIRCUIT)


    1. Disconnect the G10 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the A63 headlight assembly LH connector.

    3. Disconnect the K3 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.

    4. Disconnect the N33 rear combination light assembly LH connector.

    5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G10-8 (LL) - A63-2 (B) Always Below 1 Ω
      G10-8 (LL) - K3-10 (TRNL) Always Below 1 Ω
      G10-8 (LL) - N33-3 (B) Always Below 1 Ω
      A63-1 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      K3-6 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      N33-5 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G10-8 (LL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Remove the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

  8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RH SIDE CIRCUIT)


    1. Disconnect the G10 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the A62 headlight assembly RH connector.

    3. Disconnect the J2 outer rear view mirror assembly RH connector.

    4. Disconnect the N32 rear combination light assembly RH connector.

    5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      G10-13 (LR) - A62-2 (B) Always Below 1 Ω
      G10-13 (LR) - J2-10 (TRNR) Always Below 1 Ω
      G10-13 (LR) - N32-3 (B) Always Below 1 Ω

      J2-6 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      N32-5 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G10-13 (LR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
