  1. INSPECT THEFT WARNING INDICATOR LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    Component without harness connected

    (Theft Warning Indicator Light Assembly)

    1. Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the theft warning indicator light assembly, and check the illumination of the theft warning indicator light assembly.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (LP)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 6 (E)

      		 Illuminates

      Note


      • If the positive (+) lead and the negative (-) lead are incorrectly connected, the theft warning indicator light assembly will not illuminate.

      • If the voltage is too low, the theft warning indicator light assembly will not illuminate.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the theft warning indicator light assembly.
