ROOM LIGHT(for Center) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (ROOM LIGHT) (for LED Type)


    1. Inspect the spot light switch.

        Component without harness connected

        (Spot Light Assembly (Room Light))

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 (B) - 5 (E) Spot light switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        Spot light switch ON Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly (room light).

    2. Inspect the courtesy switch.

        Component without harness connected

        (Spot Light Assembly (Room Light))

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 (B) - 4 (CTY) Courtesy switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        Courtesy switch ON Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly (room light).

    3. Inspect the spot light.

        Component without harness connected

        (Spot Light Assembly (Room Light))

        Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

        OK
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 1 (B)

        Battery negative (-) → 5 (E)

        		 Spot light switch ON Spot light illuminates

        Battery positive (+) → 2 (RILL)

        Battery negative (-) → 5 (E)

        		 Always Switch illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly (room light).
