ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE RETAINER

  2. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH)

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts.

      B003OFB Remove in this Direction

      Move the hood lock assembly (engine hood courtesy switch) in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not excessively bend the hood lock control cable assembly.

      Detach the guides, disconnect the hood lock control cable and remove the hood lock assembly (engine hood courtesy switch).
