DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the door control receiver removal/installation are shown below.

  1. PRECAUTION

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:


    • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE SMART DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Smart Entry and Start System)

      B003LF2 Connector

      Remove the nut.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the smart door control receiver assembly.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the door control receiver.

    3. Disconnect the connector.
