GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

   

   
   

   1. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      for bolt A

      62 N*m  { 632 kgf*cm, 46 ft.*lbf }

      for bolt B

      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

   2. Connect the generator connector.

   3. Install the generator wire with the nut to terminal B.

      Torque:

      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

2. INSTALL NO. 2 IDLER PULLEY ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Install the spacer, No. 2 idle pulley assembly and 2 pulley plates with the bolt.

      Torque:

      45 N*m  { 459 kgf*cm, 33 ft.*lbf }

3. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

   Click here

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
