DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the radio and display receiver assembly judges as a result of its self-check that the signals or signal lines between the radio and display receiver assembly and the rear television camera assembly are not normal.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTC.

    2. Check for DTCs.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the G101 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the V21 rear television camera assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G101-11 (CA+) - V21-6 (CB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G101-12 (V+) - V21-3 (CV+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G101-23 (CGND) - V21-5 (CGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      G101-24 (V-) - V21-2 (CV-) Always Below 1 Ω
      G101-11 (CA+) or V21-6 (CB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G101-12 (V+) or V21-3 (CV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G101-23 (CGND) or V21-5 (CGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G101-24 (V-) or V21-2 (CV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Remove the radio and display recevier assembly with its connectors still connected.

    2. Check the waveform of the rear television camera assembly using an oscilloscope.

      Tech Tips


      • A waterproof connector is used for the rear television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the radio and display receiver assembly with the connector connected.

      • The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the rear television camera assembly.
