RADIO ANTENNA CORD REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the radio antenna cord removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. w/o Navigation System:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the clamps shown in the illustration.

      3. Remove the bolt and antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. w/ Navigation System:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the clamps shown in the illustration.

      3. Remove the bolt and antenna cord sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the clamps shown in the illustration.

    3. Remove the bolt and antenna cord sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the tape enough that the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly can be removed, and then remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the roof headlining.

  8. REMOVE NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B003RW5

      Disconnect the connector and remove the bolt.

    2. Detach the clamps, guide and remove the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.
