Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the RH side.
Fully open the rear door glass sub-assembly RH before proceeding with work.

Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH RH
Detach the clip and claw and remove the rear door frame garnish RH.
REMOVE REAR ARMREST ASSEMBLY RH

Disconnect the connector and remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly with rear door armrest base panel.

Put protective tape around the reflex reflector.
Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw and guide.
Tech Tips
Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.
Remove the rear door trim reflector RH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG RH
Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and remove the rear door inside handle bezel plug RH as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
Remove the 3 screws.

Raise the claw of the rear door inner glass weatherstrip RH as shown in the illustration, and then remove the rear door inner glass weatherstrip RH from the rear door trim board sub-assembly RH.

Butyl Tape |
Pull out the rear door lock remote control cable assembly RH, rear door inside locking cable assembly RH and wire harness from the rear door service hole cover RH, and then remove the rear door service hole cover RH.
Note
Remove any remaining butyl tape from the rear door panel.
REMOVE SCREW GROMMET
Using a clip remover, detach the claw and remove the 2 screw grommets.
REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN RH
Detach the guide and remove the rear door glass run RH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

Lift up the rear door weatherstrip RH and remove the screw.
Remove the 2 bolts and rear door window division bar sub-assembly RH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
Remove the rear door glass sub-assembly RH from the rear door window regulator sub-assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

Disconnect the connector.
Loosen the temporarily bolt.
Note
Do not remove the temporarily bolt. If the temporarily bolt is removed, the rear door window regulator sub-assembly RH may fall and become damaged.
Remove the 4 bolts and rear door window regulator sub-assembly RH.

Using a clip remover, detach the clip and remove the rear door weatherstrip RH.
Note
Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the rear door panel RH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR DUST PROOF SEAL
Detach the claw and remove the 3 rear door dust proof seals.
REMOVE NO. 2 BLACK OUT TAPE RH
REMOVE NO. 3 BLACK OUT TAPE RH
