WASHER MOTOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL LEVEL WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY

      for 2.5 L Washer Jar:


      1. Install the windshield washer jar assembly with the 3 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

        Torque:
        5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      2. Attach the clamp and guide.

      for 4.5 L Washer Jar:


      1. Install the windshield washer jar assembly with the 3 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

        Torque:
        5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      2. Attach the clamp and guide.

  3. INSTALL WASHER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY

      B003OFB Install in this Direction

      Install the washer inlet sub-assembly to the windshield washer jar assembly.

    2. Attach the claw and guide.

  4. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY

      B003LF2 Rear Washer Hose
      B003OFB Install in this Direction

      for 2.5 L Washer Jar:


      1. Install the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.

      2. Connect the connector.

      3. Connect the rear washer hose.

        Connect the front washer hose.

      B003LF2 Rear Washer Hose
      B003OFB Install in this Direction

      for 4.5 L Washer Jar:


      1. Install the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.

      2. Connect the connector.

      3. Connect the rear washer hose.

        Connect the front washer hose.

      B003LF2 Screw
      B003OFB Return in this Direction

      Return the front fender liner LH to its original position as shown in the illustration.

    4. Install the 10 clips.

    5. Install the 3 screws.

      Install the pin hold clip as shown in the illustration.

  5. FILL UP WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR WITH WASHER FLUID


    1. Refill the windshield washer fluid.
