WASHER MOTOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN WASHER FLUID

      B003R2S Turn in this Direction

      Using a screwdriver, turn the pin hold clip 90° and remove the pin hold clip.

    2. B003OXLC01
      B003R2S Screw
      B003LF2 Clip
      B003OFB Slide in this Direction

      Remove the 3 screws.

    3. Remove the 10 clips.

    4. Slide the front fender liner LH toward the rear of the vehicle and down to create a clearance as shown in the illustration.

      for 2.5 L Washer Jar:


      1. Disconnect the front washer hose and drain the washer fluid.

        Note

        Prepare a container before performing the procedure.

      for 4.5 L Washer Jar:


      1. Disconnect the front washer hose and drain the washer fluid.

        Note

        Prepare a container before performing the procedure.

  2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY

      B003LF2 Rear Washer Hose
      B003OFB Remove in this Direction

      for 2.5 L Washer Jar:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disconnect the rear washer hose.

      3. Pull as shown in the illustration to remove the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.

      for 4.5 L Washer Jar:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disconnect the rear washer hose.

      3. Pull as shown in the illustration to remove the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.

  3. REMOVE WASHER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Detach the claw and guide and remove the washer inlet sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY

      *a Clamp
      *b Guide

      for 2.5 L Washer Jar:


      1. Detach the clamp and guide.

      2. Remove the 3 bolts and windshield washer jar assembly.

      *b Guide

      for 4.5 L Washer Jar:


      1. Detach the clamp and guide.

      2. Remove the 3 bolts and windshield washer jar assembly.

  5. REMOVE LEVEL WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY
