  1. CUSTOMIZE LIGHTING SYSTEM (EXT)


    1. Customizing with the GTS


      1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      3. Turn the GTS on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Utility / Customize / Warning.

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Note

        Record the current settings before customizing.

    2. Customizing Automatic Light Control System Sensitivity


      1. Set the sensitivity of the automatic light control system by performing the following procedure. The sensitivity of the automatic light control system and corresponding number of times to operate the headlight dimmer switch (light control switch) (number of times headlights flash) are as follows.

        Tech Tips

        The default setting of the automatic light control system sensitivity is 0% (number of light control switch operations: 3).

        1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

        2. Check that the headlight dimmer switch (dimmer switch) is in the low position.

        3. Turn the headlight dimmer switch (light control switch) to the tail position.

        1. Turn the ignition switch off.

        2. Hold the headlight dimmer switch (dimmer switch) to the high flash position.

        3. Turn the headlight dimmer switch (light control switch) to the head position.(*1)

        4. Turn the headlight dimmer switch (light control switch) to the tail position.(*2)

        5. Repeat steps *1 and *2 5 times.

        6. Move the headlight dimmer switch (dimmer switch) to the low position.

        • Step 2 lists operations for changing to automatic light control system sensitivity customize setting mode.

        • If operations other than those described in step 2 are performed, the mode will change to normal mode. Perform the procedure from step 1 again.

        • Make sure to finish step 2 within 40 seconds.

        1. Check that the mode has changed to the automatic light control system sensitivity customize setting mode.

          The headlights flash a number of times which corresponds to the number of times the headlight dimmer switch (light control switch) was operated to select the current automatic light control system sensitivity setting.

        1. Hold the headlight dimmer switch (dimmer switch) to the high flash position.

        2. Turn the headlight dimmer switch (light control switch) to the head position.(*3)

        3. Turn the headlight dimmer switch (light control switch) to the tail position.(*4)

        4. Repeat steps *3 and *4 for the number of headlight dimmer switch (light control switch) operations corresponding to the desired automatic light control system sensitivity setting.

        5. Move the headlight dimmer switch (dimmer switch) to the low position.

        • If operations other than those described in step 4 are performed, the mode will change to normal mode. Perform the procedure from step 1 again.

        • Make sure to finish step 4 within 40 seconds.

        1. Check the answer back for the completion of setting the automatic light control system sensitivity.
