DESCRIPTION
This DTC is output when an ON malfunction of the rear differential lock position switch (No. 1 transfer indicator switch) is detected.

PROCEDURE
CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (4 WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL ECU - NO. 1 TRANSFER INDICATOR SWITCH)
Disconnect the C60 4 wheel drive control ECU connector.
Disconnect the e2 rear differential lock position switch (No. 1 transfer indicator switch) connector.
w/o VSC:
Disconnect the A68 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
w/ VSC:
Disconnect the A4 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

INSPECT NO. 1 TRANSFER INDICATOR SWITCH
for Automatic Transmission:
Move the shift lever to N.
for Manual Transmission:
Move the shift lever to neutral.
except Pre-Runner:
Switch the transfer position switch to L4.
Lift up the vehicle until all four wheels are off the ground.
Release the parking brake.
Rotate one rear wheel and set the rear differential to the free condition.
Disconnect the e2 rear differential lock position switch (No. 1 transfer indicator switch) connector.
