COUNTER GEAR REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL COUNTER GEAR FRONT BEARING

   
   

   1. 

      Using SST and a press, press in a new counter gear front bearing to the counter gear.

      SST

      09515-10010

      Note

      Install the counter gear front bearing so that the No. 2 counter gear front bearing snap ring groove of the bearing faces forward.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 COUNTER GEAR FRONT BEARING SNAP RING

   
   

   1. Select a new No. 2 counter gear front bearing snap ring so that the clearance between the counter gear and No. 2 counter gear front bearing snap ring is within the specification.

      Standard clearance
      0.10 mm (0.00393 in.) or less

      Snap Ring Thickness
      Thickness 2.05 to 2.10 mm (0.0808 to 0.0826 in.) 2.10 to 2.15 mm (0.0827 to 0.0846 in.) 2.15 to 2.20 mm (0.0847 to 0.0866 in.) 2.20 to 2.25 mm (0.0867 to 0.0885 in.) 2.25 to 2.30 mm (0.0886 to 0.0905 in.) 2.30 to 2.35 mm (0.0906 to 0.0925 in.)

   2. 

      Using a snap ring expander, install the No. 2 counter gear front bearing snap ring.
