CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Temporarily install the clutch switch assembly.

   2. Tighten the adjusting nut to the specified torque.

      Torque:

      15.7 N*m  { 160 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }

   3. Connect the clutch switch assembly connector.

2. INSTALL CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Temporarily install the clutch start switch assembly.

   2. 

      Adjust the clutch start switch assembly position so that the clearance shown in the illustration between the clutch start switch assembly and cushion is within the specified range.

      Standard clearance
      0.6 to 1.0 mm (0.0236 to 0.0394 in.)

      Note

      Before performing the clutch start switch assembly adjustment, adjust the pedal free play.

   3. Tighten the adjusting nut to the specified torque.

      Torque:

      15.7 N*m  { 160 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }

   4. Connect the clutch start switch assembly connector.
