PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. B003NG0C01
      *a 7.65 to 8.35 mm (0.302 to 0.328 in.)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Pushed (On) Below 1 Ω
      1 - 2 Not pushed (Off) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the clutch start switch assembly.

  2. INSPECT CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. B003KHDC04
      *a 6.5 to 7.5 mm (0.256 to 0.295 in.)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Pushed (On) Below 1 Ω
      1 - 2 Not pushed (Off) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the clutch switch assembly.
