STARTER(for 2.0 kW Type) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the starter assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

   2. Connect the starter wire with the nut.

      Torque:

      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

   3. Connect the terminal cap.

   4. Connect the starter connector.

   5. Attach the wire harness clamp and connect the wire harness with the bolt.

      Torque:

      27 N*m  { 275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf }

2. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SEAL LH

   
   

   1. Install the front fender seal LH with 6 new clips.

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
